It was good to get back on the road after so long of a hiatus, and we had a small, two-store tour to celebrate the release of Demons of Good and Evil. First stop was Cincinnati, where I had a short time to do some sightseeing before heading over to Joseph Beth.
Joseph Beth
Jo-Beth in Cincinnati was wonderful! I wasn't sure what I'd find after being gone so long, but it was as if I'd never left. The crowd was enthusiastic and we had a great time. We did not do tour Tees for a two-city tour, so our traditional family photo was for anyone who wanted to take part, but you can see a few Tees from past tours in there if you look close, and even one that was homemade!
More Q&A where I dropped some spoilers on possible move/TV opportunities for the Hollows.
Me and Furaha, who stuck around to the very end and helped put the event together.
It was a singularly wonderful night, and I hope to come back next year.

Second stop was closer to home.
Schuler Books and Music, Ann Arbor, Michigan
Me, chilling in the back room, wishing I could put a pair of those soft, warm slippers on my feet for the event. I love the back rooms of bookstores.
I did a short reading while we waited for the last of the people to get settled.
After the reading, we gave away a few pieces of swag, and then on to my favorite part, the Q&A
And because we didn't do T's this year, our family photo was very inclusive! Even had my mom in the picture! It was a great group of readers, and the event was so comfortable and relaxing! It felt so good to get back to normal.
